BCERT provides many volunteer opportunites to serve our community through a variety of events and activities throughout the year.

BCERT Member Duties and Responsibilities

Communicator - Directs volunteer responses to a drill or emergency event

Assistant Communicator - Assists the communicator as determined by the communicator.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) - Dawson County CERT is chartered to support the Dawson County Emergency Management Agency (EMA). There are 15 Emergency Support Functions (ESF's) that CERT performs under the Dawson County Local Emergency Operation Plan (LEOP).
