MEETINGS - BCERT meets the second Tuesday of every month (except December) in McCormick Hall, on the lower level of the Broyles Center at the Big Canoe Chapel at 7:00 pm.

Adopt A Hydrant - Big Canoe has over 500 Fire Hydrants. BCERT is asking residents to adopt one or more fire hydrants convenient to their homes. Adoption means:
- Keeping a 3 foot radius around the hydrants clear of debris and shrubbery.
- Reporting leaks and any anomalies such as missing caps or poor paint condition.
A contest is being held for the most clever name.
